What to consider when choosing a domain name?
Domain names have certain technical limitations. The maximum number of characters is 63. Additionally, not all characters are allowed. You can use all the letters of the alphabet, along with numbers or a hyphen. Punctuation marks and spaces are not allowed. Also, there is no distinction between uppercase and lowercase letters.
Although letters with accents or characters from another alphabet are supported in many domain name extensions, this is not always the case. If you want to register a domain name with special characters, it's best to check in advance whether they are supported.
Tip: When registering a domain name with an accent or other special character, it’s a good idea to also secure the version without accents. This way, you improve your visibility.
